Helix Aviation Academy offers unique pathways to opportunity that do not exist elsewhere in the city.
Helix Aviation Academy is the only public school in Louisiana that is located on an airport and features a curriculum focused on careers in aviation, space exploration, and cyber technology. We recently opened a second campus in North Baton Rouge. It is a tuition-free, public charter school that is open to students in kindergarten through first grade and sixth through ninth grade. At Helix, we are committed to exposing students to college and career pathways in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) and the law. Helix Aviation is part of Helix Community Schools, a homegrown network of public charter schools headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. For more information, go to helixcommunityschools.org.
At Helix Aviation Academy, we believe in the importance of early preparation. Take a moment to visit Helix Aviation Academy to see what we have to offer for your child.
We don’t just give students an education and experiences that set them up for success in a career. We help them succeed in their career—to discover a field they’re passionate about and dare to lead it.
Information regarding student enrollment and job opportunities will also be included. Make sure you’re up to speed on everything happening at Helix. Sign up now!
