In light of the widespread power outages and extensive damage caused by Hurricane Ida in the Baton Rouge area, Helix Mentorship STEAM Academy, Helix Legal Academy, and Helix Aviation Academy will remain closed through Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  

We anticipate reopening Thursday, September 2, 2021. Please continue to remain safe during the aftermath of this devastating storm.

Hurricane Ida is forecast to impact our area Sunday and Monday with significant wind and rain. 

All classes, extracurricular activities, and athletics are CANCELED on Monday, August 30, and Tuesday, August 31.

We will share additional updates for the rest of the week as we receive guidance. Stay safe!
