  • The last required document to submit to complete the enrollment registration process is the last report card from your student’s current school (we know this will not be received until the last week in May 2024). IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED THE LAST REPORT CARD PLEASE SUBMIT. The document can be uploaded to your PowerSchool account or emailed to Solarian Sept at solarian.sept@helixcommunityschools.org.
  • If you applied for enrollment for the 2024-2025, check your email for the next step in the enrollment process. Information regarding provisional acceptance information has been sent to the email on file. 
  • If you have questions or need more information, please contact Solarian Sept, director of recruitment and retention for Helix Community Schools, at solarian.sept@helixcommunityschools.org or 225-409-3000.

Review Your Results

You will receive an email with the results of your application within two weeks of the deadline. Once you receive your results, confirm acceptance of the seat offer.

Submit Registration

Once accepted, registration information must be submitted to complete your seat assignment. Please see the checklist below for the required documents.

Things To Know First

Helix Aviation Academy will be accepting applications for grades K-first grade and sixth through ninth grades for the 2024-25 school year.

To be eligible to apply, students must reside within the East Baton Rouge Parish. Upon acceptance, the following documents are required to complete registration:

  • IdentificationEvery Applicant Will Need: Birth Certificate And A Parent/Guardian ID
  • Two (2) Proofs of ResidencyAcceptable Proofs Include: Electric Bill Gas Bill Water/Sewage Bill Phone Bill Mortgage Statement Current Signed Lease (Must reflect the last 30 days.)
  • School History Applicant's Previous School History Documents Including A Drop Slip Or Last Report Card.
  • Medical RecordsThe Applicant's Current Immunization Records
  • Social Security CardOriginal Social Security Card (No photocopies)
